1. Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No referral is needed. You can book directly for all services, including women’s health physiotherapy, MSK physiotherapy, dry needling, and sports massage.


2. What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of conditions, including:

3. What is women’s health physiotherapy?

Women’s health physiotherapy focuses on conditions like pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, prolapse, pregnancy-related discomfort, menopausal symptoms and postnatal recovery. We offer evidence-based, supportive care tailored to each stage of life.


4. What is dry needling and how is it different from acupuncture?

Dry needling involves inserting fine, sterile needles into muscle trigger points to relieve tightness, reduce pain, and improve mobility. It’s based on anatomy and musculoskeletal science and is different from acupuncture, which follows traditional Chinese medicine principles. Dry needling is commonly used for treating tension, sports injuries, headaches, and chronic pain.


5. Do you offer online physio sessions?

Yes, we offer online (telehealth) appointments for consultations, guided rehab, and follow-up care. These are ideal for clients who are remote, busy, or prefer at-home sessions.


6. What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being treated—for example, shorts for leg issues or a vest top for upper body treatments.


7. Is physiotherapy covered by health insurance?

Yes, most private health insurers in Ireland offer partial or full reimbursement for physiotherapy sessions. We can provide detailed receipts to support your claim.


8. Do you offer sports massage?

Yes, we provide sports massage to support recovery, reduce muscle soreness, and prevent injury. It’s suitable for both active individuals and those dealing with muscular tension.


9. How long is a physiotherapy session?

Initial assessments are 45 minutes. Follow-up appointments are 30 to 45 minutes depending on your treatment needs.


10. Where are you located?

We are based in Glin, Co. Limerick. Online physiotherapy sessions are also available, allowing you to access care from anywhere, whether you're at home, at work, or travelling.


11. How do I book an appointment?

12. What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
